The issue isn't really there, but that it's also the check for knowing about your own religion.
DMs: if a character wants to know something about their own religion, a good solution to this is to just tell them, rather than requiring a check (or if you want the group to make checks for something obscure, give a bonus or a lowered DC to someone if they're a member of that faith.)
I don't think I can get the T-Rex to win.
These items set your stat to 19 if your stat was lower than 19.
Faelys' INT is 20, and Konsi's WIS is 20. The only real use of such an item in our party would be to provide a large boost to a dump-stat, and if you're doing that, you might as well go for the biggest boost possible.
In reality, we wouldn't make regular use of such an item, everyone in the party is rocking three attuned items that they'd prefer to a headband of intellect when adventuring. It's the kind of thing we'd put in the bag of holding and then attune during a downtime day when we needed to do library research.
That's what I do with my gnome wizard... after all, the PHB explicitly says "gnomes love puns"
There is!
Under the Konsi comics, you should see her name as a link, if you click on it, it'll show you only those.
They're in reverse chronological order, so start at the bottom and work backwards. Please be advised that there's some non-comic art of her mixed in.
Pointy hats with corks from used potions dangling around the rim let's go.
I think "Totally Accurate Battle Simulator"
Some of us never left the 80s
Nine.
That's okay, I'm just a little exasperated haha
I know people like to "well actually" me after every single comic I post here, but give me at least a little credit...
I do take 5 minutes to check the rules before I spend multiple hours drawing a joke about them.
Umm... actually recalling information is INT.
The first line under "intelligence" in the PHB is:
"An Intelligence check comes into play when you need to draw on logic, education, memory, or deductive reasoning."
Hell, even the keen mind feat, which gives you perfect memory for a month, gives you INT.
I don't want to remember.
That's just how Konsi is... more INT makes the imposter syndrome stronger.
The perfect diet food, maybe?
I think that, generally speaking, food that's magically generated for a temporary period of time counts as "real" if you eat it - you get the nutrition from it. (c.f. Magnificent Mansion) - which raises interesting questions about the metaphysics of DnD.
Sadly, it was "Korth" but... I think he aspired.
When I ran Rime of the Frostmaiden I had a player who made a lizardfolk wizard. Lizard Wizard. The game was online so here's his VTT token.
In session 0, most of my players were getting used to roll20, so I ran a big combat to start the campaign off - ambush by ten goblins and two dire wolves.
On the wizard's first turn, he's like "I got this" leaps from the sled, sprints across the battlefield to a goblin archer, and bites the guy in two.
Wizard.
This adds a whole new dimension to "chewing the furniture"
Konsi's hammer (show in panel 4) is an artifact of Moradin, some of its powers involve casting some spells.
I realized when typing the title, if I didn't mention fireball, everyone would say fireball. :)
