It could have been a moon landing denier or even a flat earther.

There is a non zero chance he may actually be good for the space program in general? In the meantime the bar is lowered enough that this may be the best in a bad lot, even if this nomination redefines the term “industry capture”

I think we have all seen this sort of thing play out in the last few years. Republicans are shocked and worried , or at least some token ones are. Then they all magically fall into line and vote as a block

Sometimes history shows oligarchs breaking stuff to make more money for themselves: trade patterns, movement of people, social safety nets, previous methods of doing business.

I think we all got so used to the modern times that it’s hard to image this still happening, but on a bigger scale.

Or, it could be mostly empty threats now, designed to manipulate the markets. We saw Trump scares during his last term in office, particularly near the end, that would deliberately scare enough people to make bank in stocks and bonds. Scaring a nation is very profitable.

stats published elsewhere show experienced programmers loose productivity using these new tools because they have to debug and fix things.

I think such tools work better for inexperienced programmers who are making small code stuff, like school assignments and self teaching, or need a skeleton made to fill in later.

The problem is that this is not where the big money is at, so a bubble and questionable actions have occurred trying to capitalize on it.

Are the agencies that will cease to exist soon just trying to troll people now?
