I can't see a lot posts / comments / replies on my lemmy.world account
  • When creating the account I've set it to undetermined tho, which was the default setting and I didn't bother to change it.

  • I've set it to undetermined, yes

  • I can't see a lot posts / comments / replies on my lemmy.world account

I first noticed when I posted something and I could see that I've gotten a reply. But when I went to the post I couldn't see it. I use Jerboa and I got the notification that somebody replied so I could reply back to them over the message tab. However, I couldn't send it because the loading time took forever and eventually stopped with a "network error". Furthermore, when I go to a community I only see a fraction of the posts that are on it. When I switch to an alt account I can see the rest. Some communities don't show up at all. This even happens to posts and communities hosted on lemmy.world (like the case I talked about in the beginning) so it doesn't appear to be a federation issue. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Why does my Lemmy.world account hide most posts and replies?

    Having niche communities be like
  • I am trying to build a (relatively fringe) community but I feel bad about reposting stuff, so I don't. On the other hand it's really hard making up new memes all the time and I end up trashing most ideas because they just feel very forced.

  • Glad to discover that Boost (my favorite Reddit client for Android)'s developer is now working on a Lemmy version!
  • Same actually! I've only discovered Lemmy through the notification on Boost

  • Screenshot = bad
  • What countries are lemmy.world users coming from?
  • Hallo from Germany!

  • Lenny does not sell online courses on how to be successful. However, he looks like he does.
  • He mostly does online courses where he gives encouraging pspspsps speeches but also how to sell your own catshit to dogs (not financial advice).

  • infinite Planaria glitch

I know they are technically not invincible but they regrow a new individual from a part containing a capable cell

    Just following rules
  • same :(

  • Just following rules
  • oh damn, same

  • Miss The Mighty Boosh
  • Easy now, fuzzy little man-peach.

  • Half a year my Alocasia Polly had only one half dead leave, suddenly she grew a new one and another one's already coming!

Patience is really worth it with these. I didn't even have the opportunity to do anything wrong because the second I got her she lost all her leaves but one and the soil started molding (despite watering her only once). After intense rehabilitation and repeated mold removal she suddenly snapped out of it and came back to life! I really thought she wouldn't make it.

I keep switching from app to app
  • You can preregister for Boost for Lemmy! It was the best Reddit API imho and hopefully the new App will come out soon.
