  • Asked two friends to the movies tonight and they were both busy. Not to be dramatic or anything, but this is my personal 9/11

  • Sounds like a good idea if you have sensitive skin

I'm happy with the results I'm getting now so I probably won't switch, but after some searching I saw that some people consider salicylic acid a kind of chemical exfoliant, which I did use earlier in my transition when my skin was more prone to getting acne

  • I never tried chemical before, I just rub everything down with exfoliating gloves. Except for my face, but I still use a scrub for that

  • Okay, I read the plan, and i don't understand why we need someone crouching behind the gorilla

  • Full body exfoliation today, feeling very soft

  • I usually try not to insult people's hobbies, but let's be real, if you play golf you were probably already a conservative

  • Anyone have experience getting their eyebrows done at the hairdresser, like is it gonna be worse than having them done at a beauty salon? The price is pretty similar (expensive as fuck), and I would prefer my hair stylist do it because I know her and because it's convenient when I'm already there to do my hair anyway, but idk if beauticians are better trained at stuff like that.

I did it a handful of times pre-transition but that was just coloring without shaping, now I want both.

  • I'm not familiar with how they do it in the UK, that's why it surprised me that they don't already do all the nonsense screenings and stuff. In my country at least gendery dysphoria needs to be "long-lasting and consistent" before it can be treated, so if you go to a doctor as a newly cracked egg that's what will happen.

Obviously, the normal thing is just to lie and say we knew since we were 12 or whatever, but I have a couple of friends who went to healthcare personell before having contact with anyone in the trans community who could help them, and they all got punished for telling the truth.

  • With how transphobic the uk is I'm surprised they didn't do this already. Where I live they require you to get screened for a dozen different conditions before they even consider treating for gender dysphoria, even if you're an adult.

Just a complete waste of everyone's time. We have an overloaded mental healthcare system and psychiatrists are still told to screen trans people for disorders there's zero indications that they have.

  • no, i'm built different, if i was a crab in a bucket i would just leave

  • With older ones I've already deleted everything that make me go

so I just have good ones left.

  • Why is my how I see my own face so volatile compared to how I see everyone else's?

Like, to my perception other people look mostly the same all the time, but angle and lighting completely changes how happy I am with my own face. Makes me worried I'm actually abnormally ugly and when I'm not seeing that it's just cope

  • The admin's response is just very strange. Why does British law matter here? No one expects or wants forum rules to have a formal legal basis. It's something you make and enforce based on what kind of community you want to have, and if they're fine with transphobia because it's legal to be a transphobe, they clearly don't want the kind of community we do and we should defederate.

  • Found out I have an iron deficiency, very girl coded

  • I'm not a big food person, mostly an annoyance to have to stop and eat all the time. But I love sugary energy drinks, my favorite thing to consume
