Oh totes. NVIDIA continuing to lie even more blatantly to their face, driver bricking issues on updates, missing GPU ROPS performance, even more burn problems with a connector they knew continued to be problematic and lied about it, they and their retail partners releasing very limited inventory and then serving internal scalping while also being increasingly hostile to the rest of their consumers, ray tracing performance improvements they have to exclusive push in certain games and the newest most expensive hardware to actually get any benefit from their cards, false MSRP pricing and no recourse for long time loyal customers except a lottery in the US while the rest of the regions get screwed. Totes just that it's "too expensive", because when have gamers ever splurged on their hobby?
So basically, they will get all their wealth and property in the country repossessed and sniped off of them, Nazi style far below their value because they need to sell immediately and their local markets will be saturated. Do they have a new colonizer buddy like Israel lined up whom they can Haavara Agreement their interests with? Maybe their reactionary far right bullshitters they are financing over in Europe whom they will help roll over their governments? Like Vox in Spain? South America, even Puerto Rico, no longer seems like a stable or equitable bet to the economy they will now be coming from.
Good times create weak men who think those good times came out of nothing and want an easy excuse on why they are being deprived of something they thing they are naturally entitled to. This excuse usually ends up being believing those who the good men who created those good times fought against.
This is the time you decide whether the Civil War was just about about keeping the country united to maintain its power or whether it was about ending slavery (which it didn't, but that's another point). It's clear that keeping the country together only helped maintain US power and influence internationally, because the assholes who rebelled to protect slavery have kept their agenda and are clearly in power now. It does not bode well when only the abuser is willing to stand up for themselves and their narcissism while the victim still thinks that if they are nice enough they will get anyone to see the error of their ways. Are democrats just willing to tolerate abuse? Is there nothing they would secede from, even a tyrant?
Right now, some GOP members are playing a charade of fighting the administration on side issues like Ukraine. Make no mistake, they are still complicit with a Trump admin, and midterms will be a charade as well.
The guys that are currently restoring confederate monuments would perform a takeover of the state by the federal government. US states no longer share core values, sometimes very hypocritically so.
