Eragon was my first foray into proper swords and sorcery fantasy after Harry Potter.

Are the books really that bad in your opinion? By no means do they reinvent the wheel, but I enjoyed the magic system and enjoyed the aspect of Dragon + Rider and that relationship we see between the two.

I haven’t read much other Fantasy besides LotR and Stormlight Archive, but I enjoy the Inheritance Cycle.

Man that article really made me think of the Larian BG3 XS debacle.

I hope this is just a bit overstated, because I don’t want to feel the pressure to buy an PS or build a PC.

I do want to buy a SteamDeck, and this only reinforces that decision though.

In terms of overall franchise quality I’d say Legend of Zelda.

Mistborn was amazing for this.

I started reading more when the Reddit API stuff happened. Meant to pick up Mistborn AGES ago at a friend’s behest and then went to Way of Kings after Mistborn Era 1 was over.

Haven’t looked back, and have barely read anything not written by Brando Sando since then.

I just read the 4 Stormlight Archives books this past year (in addition to the novellas) but I’m already itching to reread them.

Ah that reminds me, I do actually use the Shonen Jump app on occasion. But I haven’t re-upped my subscription since I caught up on all the good manga they offered there. They did just recent add Golden Kamuy and RuriDragon isn’t on Hiatus anymore.

I just use a browser mainly. But I’m on iOS.

I mean dragons did exist. We just call them dinosaurs.

I just give mine their food in batches. Usually a half cup in the morning and a half cup in the evenings (I have two cats).

If I leave out the same amount of food, such as if I’m leaving the house for a weekend trip, I will come back to hungry kitties.

I have found my people. I also liked TLJ. I hated RoS because literally the whole movie spent it’s runtime reversing what Rian did in TLJ.

Most near me close around 1am or so I think. Might be 2-3. I haven’t checked in a while.

Weirdly I found out Wal-Mart is no longer 24 hours in some locations. My local one closes at 11 weirdly.
