I've never experienced the recessed circles collecting more dust than blowing a single deep breath would solve. And I've never even seen any grime in them. I suppose of you used it outside, but every type would get grimy that way.

I suspect you're thinking of a scene from Man of Steel. This is from the recently released Superman. And in this movie ::: spoiler spoiler he is put in a concentration camp, while being told that he isn't entitled to due process. Escaping is a lot harder than in Man of Steel. :::
