Why is this not called "copyright infringement" anymore again? Where did the sea pirate association start?

It seems like search results load much faster than ever before! What happened in the last few days to fix the search results taking several seconds to load?

I started using Linux / GNU/Linux based operating systems for more than a day or so at a time when I got Puppy Linux on my USB drive back in 2016 or so. Ever since then I put Fatdog64 and other Linux based operating systems such as Ubuntu and Linux Mint on my laptop.

Why are they getting patents for stuff like that? I thought patents were for mechanical inventions only, not new money schemes to stop others from doing the same so you're known for that scheme?

So that means I can add moderator permissions to users on other instances?

I've created the communities on Lemmy.world already, can I add moderation permissions to another account on another instance or am I required to moderate Lemmy.world communities/forums on Lemmy.world?

I feel like when the Reddit API controversy happened I was more inclined to switch due to the blackout vs Twitter which didn't have nearly as instant of an event that would happen to get me off. Now all of a sudden because of Reddit I'm on various Fediverse projects such as Funkwhale, Mastodon, Kbin, and Lemmy.

Actually it seems like even on an SSD GIMP takes a few seconds to load nowadays on Windows and yet Fatdog64 loads it within a second or two. Anyone else tried Fatdog64 or any Puppy Linux OS?
