  • The modern world needs to change. Humans are getting more and more depressed, broken, struggling and mentally ill just to get more and more exposed to ads, social pressure and the lot.

Humans are creative family based animals, not machines that need to be forced into doing the same stuff over and over again all their lives.

A 4 day work week is a good start, but what's really needed is a rather more drastic change to enable humanity as a whole and individually.

Long term view: Basic universal income with robots and AI doing most of the work is in theory doable and such similar ideas.

It's just that the existing system is not only rusted tight, but also being held alive by those who benefit from the rusted thing and those who fear change.

  • Depends on perspective.

Technically I am safer than most humans. I have a job, a flat, etc. I live in a country with a good social net even if I were to lose my job.

Yet still it feels like standing at the edge of a cliff for either no rational reason or many small convoluted reasons.

  • That it's European.

And it makes less errors with having data truly up to date. Also so far it feels like it hallucinates less.

Other than that chatgpt is superior. Especially in contexual understanding and actually writing in a more human way.

Lechat is somewhat more clinical in its answers.

Overall chatgpt is better, though it's American so I won't use it anymore

  • It's more about the discussion itself.

Many who use the energy usage argument against AI usage are extremely often unaware how much energy the things use which they use daily.. and a lot.

Binge watching streaming videos, gaming, and google searching, YouTube etc. All uses energy and if you calculate usage per person per day per hour average it's often the casually used stuff that adds up way more

  • It turned into my replacement of Google for shallow questions.

I now use leChat which has less intelligence but more crisp unemotional up to date information.

I also use it for most texts as spellcheck or feedback.

Right now I'm using it as a step by step guide to figure out why I am failing to install Ubuntu on wsl to try it out. Not quite working yet though.
