“Will power” is not a thing.

When Free Will is not a thing, "Will power" is a joke, but we have a very strong illusion of free will and I live my life like I have free will because "I feel like it" and there is more utility on this side of the aisle.

The “American dream” really is not accessable to everyone how it’s traditionally laid out.

I love America as an Indian, the First and the Second Amendments, the separation of church and state, the spirit of Innovation and Science, the rebel spirit, the history (except some things of c) and the whole shebang! Gimme, some of that, please!

I know the "American dream" isn't really accessible if you're really downtrodden, but it's a hell of a deal from where I stand. A friend of mine had something witty to say about " the Indian dream", when I asked him about it, he said "The Indian dream is to live the American Dream" lol!

God! Tell me about it! I by mistake clicked on Upgrade to Windows 11 (I wasn't paying attention and Microsoft categorised it in bad faith) And voila, it's downloading Windows 11 now (I have paused it for 14 days) But how can I make sure that the download is cancelled, any ideas?

I am required to use Windows 10 or 11 rn, but I am keeping it "downgraded" as much as possible because bloated "Fat Man" won't run well and the more features there are in a certain version of Microsoft, you seem to be giving it more control over your life. This happened to me when I was installing windows (on Dual Boot) I spent three. fucking. days. trying to solve an error to find out at the end that it was a different fucking error. Damn you Microsoft :')

Scripting stuff on Linux is relatively simple, trying to fuck about with powershell

that is the fucking best thing about Linux, I have so many scripts and customizations, I can't even tell you!

So by the time I got a reliable x86 laptop in hand, Linux felt more normal to me than Win 8.

Know and respect this feeling, I am using MX Linux and have a very customized panel, settings and shortcuts. It's home, even if it were to be wiped out, I would still put in all the effort to reinstall it.

But, I gotta admit, when Windows works as intended, it's good for being productive and I technically should be learning how to use Windows properly as my work requires me to :')

I see many of my rich friends desperately flocking to Britain and people in India being tribal as hell that I am beginning to think maybe British rules would have suited us better. i.e., I want more free-speech in this country, I want more freedoms and better legal system in this country. The legal system in UK is objectively better than ours in many ways, I won't mind that tbch with you.

I am not sure how different India would have been without that. But I would rate British Colonial Influence with 1 stars, I would not recommend it if you are non-White or American.

rather, law enforcement as a whole needs to be reformed and worked heavily upon so the laws sincerely get executed and implemented (maybe then the people won’t be as intimidated).

no joke dude, I hate this. Indians (including me) become slavish when we encounter authority. I need to change this in myself or leave! This is too fucking gloomy! It's like our bones melt and we become liquid! ughh...!
