Obviously we will have to see what sort of content comes in from Threads, but knowing Meta, they will be serving a lot of ads in it. So instances will effectively be distributing Meta ads for free. Well free for Meta; the instances will incur additional costs.
The announced pricing is prohibitively expensive for apps that were previously free (and changes were basically immediate instead of giving apps a year to make changes).
And Reddit announced that NSFW results would not be returned by the API (which basically renders apps useless for many users)
Hmmm... maybe? I don't know that they are supposed to give specific personal advice; rather, they are supposed to be supportive of helping patients work through issues to discover their path for themselves.
