  • I used to work at a bakery and my favourite thing to do was bring home a fresh baguette and eat it with blue cheese.

  • Chickpea tuna salad. Drain a can of chickpeas, then mix with a can of tuna (drained, if it's packed in water), some olive oil, red wine vinegar, and salt. I add diced raw onion if I'm not too tired.

  • I use ketchup instead of tomato paste quite often and fortunately it never really tastes like ketchup. Maybe that's why.

  • My dad and I used to eat an entire baguette on the way back from the grocery store.

  • Sometimes when I'm craving chicken wings but don't want to spend the money, I just eat toast dipped in wing sauce. It actually scratches the itch.

  • Me at lunch, me at dinner, me at lunch tomorrow, me at dinner tomorrow...

  • I'm Canadian so I could be wrong but I think that's a thing in Chicago, or at least similar to that. Or some other big American city.

  • I used to microwave slices of Portuguese sausage like that. Now I'll have to try it in the air fryer.

  • I think harm needs to be clearly defined.

  • These are really common where I live but I've never had one. They'd be a nightmare for my forgetful ass. I'd never remember to check the mail. I already forget and my mailbox is next to my front door.

  • Personally, I don't memorise facts about people I don't like. I learn them and forget them but don't forget that I don't like that person.

  • I'm a 40-year-old white man? I had no idea

  • Keep a hobby a hobby, yes! Don't try and monetize it! You will kill all the joy you once felt for that hobby.

  • You don't usually need to lower the fever. We do it for comfort, mostly. Being feverish feels bad. One of my kids can tolerate a fever so I don't usually give her fever reducing medication. The other one gets so miserable that she won't stop screaming, so I give her the medication.

  • Is it just me who cannot read these things at all? It's just word salad.

  • Personally I like it, but I am well aware that I have tacky taste.

  • I loved both as a kid but Digimon was a much better story. Pokemon was super cheesy and felt like it was just made to sell video games and trading cards.

  • If I have to cook, ground beef burritos. I could make that in my sleep. Get some rice going in the rice cooker. Saute diced onions, add minced garlic when those are translucent and smell good, add the beef when the garlic smells good, add spices once the beef is mostly browned. I add lemon juice at the end to deglaze. Toss on a tortilla with some sour cream, a huge handful of chopped cilantro (no soapy taste here, just lemony freshness), the rice, and lots of home-canned salsa.

But really, if I want something quick, I'm not cooking. I love eating some crusty bread with hummus. I buy big bags ciabatta buns and keep them in the freezer. Just a few minutes in my air fryer and they come out basically freshly baked.
