A good sleep and hitting again the next day can do wonders. Let that brain soak and defrag overnight. I could not even tell you the number of times I'd get bodied all night, then win like first or second try the following day.
Similar to the advice of others... But yeah a break really does wonders. Sitting there getting cranky rarely helps performance, but coming back cool, calm, collected with the experience of the fight makes a massive difference.
This thread got me thinking Lemmy needs a better "find a co-op buddy" community for games in general. If it's here already, could use better marketing.

Maybe helps that I still have a solid squad of irl mates I game with, but also don't mind catching solo time on single players.
I was dead fucking wrong about twitch tho. When it first came out I was like "who the hell is this for, younger siblings?" Like, why wouldn't you just play the game yourself? Figured there'd be a lil niche for e-sport pro level scene, but twitch got way bigger than I ever would've thought.

Honestly, had a lot of time to think back in chemo. Wasn't even old enough to drink yet. Caught early, pretty high rates for success... But still... Lots of time to think. Sat next to sweet old ladies with much harder fights...

Find hobbies. Learn a new skill. Get lost in a book, or museum, or at a disco. Get that extra slice. Take that road trip. Learn how to play that instrument. No, it's probably not too late to start skiing, or climbing, or studying French. Grind if you have to. Cool shit often requires luck, but those who put in the hours get lucky more.

Game was bad and hachi kinda busted, but seemingly only a few of us who ever got real nasty with it. Kinda fun just being a monster on that silly game and showing off maximum old man butt.
