  • That's really insightful, thanks!

Interesting, I suppose a single fish then would generally be shared by a single 'community' around whichever store sold those cans. But other fish caught at the same time could potentially be sent to another country entirely.

In terms of waste, I meant more at the consumer level. Seeing as cans last such a long time I'm guessing the wastage would be a lot lower than other more perishable foods...

  • Hmm looking at the can I got from Aldi in the UK, it says 'responsibly sourced' (whatever that means) but doesn't have an MSC certification. I'll see if I can find cans that do in future!

  • This video seems to suggest that quite a lot of the process is manual: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt3SbqYAbf4

People deboning, sorting it and so on. It's not entirely clear but yeah they seem to load hunks of meat in which I guess a machine then places into cans.

  • Possibly, but it's always been quite hard to tell. Whenever I get cans it's always in tiny flakes so I guess that could be from multiple tunas if one can needed a top-up etc.

  • Went on 4chan, they called me gay

    What more can I say?

  • To tell the truth I haven't read many other fantasy series. Sanderson finished off the Wheel of Time series, which I've heard is good. The first book Game of Thrones book was excellent, though I found it quite dense and haven't got round to reading any more of his. I've got the Assassin's Apprentice on my wishlist as someone recommended that too.

  • I finished Way of Kings the other day. It was incredible! Can't wait to read the next book.

  • I've managed dig up a copy abbreviation policy (please let me know if there's a newer version of this)

    5.03 Abbreviations

    • The following words cannot be used in abbreviations, and their use in such a manner is a ban-able offence: "New", "York", "Times". In accordance with the Board's principles, these words are sacrosanct and to shorten them is heresy.
    • Taximeter cabriolet can be shortened to taxi
  • I don't know how accurate this is as quite often I'll leave my Kobo awake on the desk and read a few pages occasionally while I'm working from home. I probably read more than 0.8 pages a minute (though I do have the text size set quite small)

  • I think qrstuv is trolling you. They post some surreal stuff on other servers and don't seem to take anything on here seriously :)

To be fair you should have read the abbreviation policy before posting though.

  • Thanks. I need them URGENTLY

  • Oh my bad. Do you have any adult chairs for sale? For oral/anal use

  • Are the chairs suitable for oral/anal sex?

  • Femboys are the best for me

  • You can have it for free. It's UHT (ew)

  • Excellent work, these are all so cute! :3

  • It looks like both are now working - must've been a temporary thing :3
