  • Does anyone here actually cook in their microwave? I don't mean reheat things or defrost and heat a pizza pop, but like actually cook something with the varying temperatures and all that shit they can do. Like is anyone making raw meatballs, saucing them and cooking them in the microwave?

I remember my parents cooking onions with butter in the microwave to put on subs, but I've never done anything like that.

  • It's also easier to just hide something that's more potent.

    Drug A 1g is 10 doses.

    Drug B 1g is 400 doses.

It's a lot easier to hide 1g than it would be to hide 40g, and who are we kidding, they're still gonna charge the street user the same price per hit regardless of type.

Scale that up a bit size wise and it's 1 Playstation in a semi is stuffed instead of 40. Now it's less likely to be found amongst the thousand in the truck.

  • So the headline is pretty inaccurate.

There will be a person in the passenger seat. They aren't a safety driver, or driver at all. They've been operating with an actual safety driver for around a year now for employees only.

We don't really know what they'll do, but I highly doubt it's jump for the wheel if it's about to do something. I think it's going to be more of a, the car decides it can't do anything and is just sitting there incorrectly and they won't have to dispatch someone to fix it like Waymo does. This could be a legitimate saftey issue if the car is just stuck on the road.

Once they're happy it's not getting in situations like that they'll remove the person and dispatch people as needed.

But we won't know for a few more days when we get reports of what they're doing while the first people test it.

  • serious question about guns and silencers, but if it was just a tiny gun, would it not be pretty quiet and work as expected like if someone was in a bathroom and the people in the bar wouldn't hear it?

The bigger the gun the more noise it'd make though for sure.
