  • Dike*

Dyke is a slur (offensive word) used towards lesbians.

And the dike is the raised part, it's the thing not flooded in the photo. A dike is used to prevent flooding, so a flooded dike would require a LOT more water.

  • I always keep my phone in my front pocket and have never had a problem biking. Are you actively buying pants with tiny pockets? I only buy second hand clothes and have a few "female pants" with pockets that don't fully fit huge phones and even with them it's not a problem.

  • They didn't fire him, they warned him and he walked.

And I understand why Apple warned him, even though I don't agree with it. China is both a huge market for them but also the only place in the world able to produce a lot of their products in high enough volumes to keep up with demand, just like it is for most other big tech companies.

They didn't warn him because they disagree with him, only because they'd risk loosing a huge market and business partner if they didn't.

Again, I don't agree with silencing criticism for China, but it's fully understandable why they felt the need to IMO.

  • I'm a swede with fully swedish parents, and I have always lived here, but I've always sucked at Swedish, both spelling and vocabulary.

But I'm way better at English, I often use English words because I can't remember or simply don't know the Swedish equivalent, and sometimes I just give up and fully use English for whatever I'm trying to explain. I wouldn't say I'm great at grammar overall, but I'm above average based on how bad most people are.

  • I think people are more divided about starfield, a lot of people love it but a lot of other people don't. I think it'll keep a pretty large fan base for a long time, though, and I'm part of that.

I've wanted a true sci-fi from Bethesda since morrowind, and they made something truly special with starfield. currently at 320 hours playtime, and I'm not even finished with the main quest yet. Very excited for NG+ but I'll not start that before fully surveying every damn planet and fully unlocking all skills, both will take a while.

  • Seriously? How can you not see the difference between a real photo and a game? I swear, you can fool people with the most obvious things. Life must be extremely confusing for you, not being able to figure out things that you never would expect anyone to have a problem with.
