I don't know if I would describe it for myself as 'burning'. Making eye contact to me feels overly intimate in a way that feels uncomfortable with people I'm not close to
That looks nice! I played the demo a bit and it feels a bit clunky still but that makes sense if it's in early access, but with some more polish it seems really cool! c:
I don't know if it's insensitive but it does seem unintuitive. Yeah "LGBTQ+" doesn't include everything in it's name but it's a short acronym that's easy to remember and say. If I'm in the middle of a conversation I probably can't remember 2SLGBTQQIA+. At the end of the day it's just language to communicate ideas, and I think LGBTQ+ gets the point across clearly. Alternatively you can just say Queer.
Yeah I feel similarly. I created a magazine and was excited about moderating it even, but I'm not very much of a poster, more a lurker and commenter. But yeah it has a few subscribers now so I should probably just make some posts as a start at least
I think I joined Mastodon around September or October 2022? But I hadn't heard of Kbin until a few weeks ago :p
Actually I wasn't familiar with the fediverse at all outside of Mastodon before then
I'm not religious myself but I do understand it sometimes. I feel like it can be a way to make sense of a world that doesn't really make sense a lot of the time. It can be nice to have at least something to hold on to.
But people who use religion as an excuse to do bad? Hate them
Really? I thought the loudness wars peaked around the mid 2000's/2010's. I feel like it's become less prominent in the last few years
