  • Ugh. Can I just say how much I fucking HATE how every single fucking product on the market today is a cheap, broken, barely functional piece of shit.

I swear to God the number of times I have to FIX something BRAND NEW that I JUST PAID FOR is absolutely ridiculous.

I knew I should've been an engineer, how easy must it be to sit around and make shit that doesn't work?

Fucking despicable. Do better or die, manufacturers.

  • It's not "copium", reddit is genuinely heavily populated by bots, advertisers, and sponsored content. There aren't nearly as many actual people using it as before. I'm not saying they all came here, but reddit is definitely not "the front page of the internet" anymore, and hasn't been since long before the api exodus occurred.

Nobody talks about reddit in daily conversation like insta, tiktok, youtube, or even facebook. The majority of people on the internet do not know it exists. It's a weird, niche website desperately failing to claw it's way to the mainstream, when the whole charm of it was that it wasn't mainstream social media.

However, I agree that I'd like to stop hearing about it here.

  • Fair enough. But I dont know if I'd compare it to a resurrected corpse. The gang is mostly intact, they're still trying to make a good show, it's just not fueled by the same fresh, youthful inspiration it once was.

  • I'd say "not quite."

    (Slight spoilers ahead)

The A plot involves NFTs which was pretty lame.

But the B plot involved Bender returning to Mexico and reconnecting with his roots, which wasn't bad, mainly because it didn't depend on pop culture references. Danny Trejo was pretty good as a guest star.

    (Spoiler end)

I think the reason the pop culture references seem so tired now is because our lives are filled with people making fun of pop culture on social media/the internet. All the NFT jokes have been made already, like a year ago. The writers need to stick to original, engaging plots that don't rely on criticizing pop culture or rehashing old plotlines.

  • I interpreted it to mean a primary, necessary, and unique area/dungeon, as opposed to an optional side dungeon with reused assets or a nonspecific "overworld" so to speak. Like if stormveil castle linked directly to Raya Lucaria which linked directly to volcano manor, and so on, without an open world to traverse in between.
