Additionally to what people have said, I have set up several banking accounts with different banks. That way, no bank has the full picture of what I earn or how much I spend.
100% agree with you. Been keeping an eye out for something more streamlined to bring the whatsapp crowd over. XMPP ain't it due to different servers with different features being a thing. So I only have a few contacts there. But as soon as SimpleX has a desktop client I'm moving over. Not because XMPP is bad, but because it's not able to pull less privacy driven peope over.
For me the question should rather be, what made you never start using privacy intrusive tools. And the answer would be simple common sense. But then again, I'm at an age where I can remember not being able to call someone because someone was using the modem in our house.
I love turn-based, it's my favourite fight mechanic. Like I mentioned, it's the childish over the top slapstick story I have an issue with. Are the other entries more mature?
I appreciate OPs opinion but I disagree with it. I played Like a Dragon because the game and the whole series comes so highly recommended. Man oh man is it not for me. The characters are cartoonishly one dimensional, the plot has the depth of a childrens anime and the so called humour is cringeworthyly bad. I had to stop after 3-4 hours. I already got told I need to power through get to the meat of the game to appreciate it. I just don't have the time or the will to suffer for hours in the hopes that it gets better.
Venetica: old eurojank action RPG. It shows its age and the jank is real. But underneath all that is a fresh theme, cool atmosphere and interesting story. Also, it's 1€ during the Steam sale.
I agree with everything you said. I'm a middle-aged man that's pretty hard to frazzle. That god damn game gutted me emotionally. I played it on release and I still can literally ''feel'' the ending. Absolute masterpiece of story-telling.
I'd be curious as well. Extensions are a good way to get fingerprinted, so I'm reluctant to use anything more than uBlock
