  • This may not be the proper place for this, but is there a video or explanation for why Palestine is hated so much by Israel? Germany is no longer seen as entirely evil Nazi's, Japan doesn't have the same stigmas from WWII either. What has Palestine done to warrant the atrocities happening? If it happened in the past, surely, by now, enough time has passed where it just doesn't matter anymore.

  • My step father was/is like that. Horrible drunk, 2 faced in public. My mother wants nothing to do with him anymore, his son is finally free from the divorce agreement (the children end up being property in divorces), and he texts me randomly about... nothing, really. Seldom, but always when he drinks. He gets really sentimental when he texts me. I haven't told my mother, but as much as I hate him, there's a large amount of pity. He had a family and pushed every single one of them away. Now he's a lonely drunk, likely to die from health problems or something more depressing.

  • If the entire population of Poland (36.69 (nice) million, 2023) was completely idiotic, that would only be slightly more than 10% of the US population (340.1 million, 2024). I think we still hold the largest concentration of idiot.

  • I was prepared to argue with you on this, but after reading the article, you're right. It never says he supported trump or voted for him. The closest thing I can see them using for that assumption on their part was that he opposed vaccine mandates in 2021. I understand the venn diagram of people that opposed vaccines and supported trump was almost a perfect circle, but ALMOST doesn't really say it definitively.
