Hell yes. I'm not taking the time go move my hand to the mouse, find the cursor with my eyes, move the mouse and then move hands back to type. That's asinine.
That's true. We LOVE to hate him.
Is this in reference to a particular IP?
So I have been on Mastodon and Threads for quite awhile. I'm on BlueSky now too. Threads is the most enjoyable of the three by far. I don't see how marketing has to do with it in any way, but after spending some time on each, I prefer Threads. It's the only one that I've found content I wanted to engage with.
With Mastodon, I feel like I still can't get started. I'm not sure what to do.
I just scrolled by the still relevant meme. It had some comments on it so some people are seeing them.
Voyager is the best at the moment. There are a few other full featured ones. People always recommend Jerboa but when I looked at it I think it was lacking moderation tools. I've also used Sync, Thunder, and something else. You're on the right one now. No need to change.
The only feature that I am after still is the ability to browse other instances without searching. You can't do that yet in Voyager.
Are you having specific trouble with something?
Firefox, kebab menu, add to homescreen.
Oh Jesus, what's wrong with you. 7 I guess
Shep really missed the mark on this one.
I jumped in the car after work and put on 'Keep Your Hands to Yourself' Georgia Satellites
I agree and I'm manually upvoting this comment.
As much as I agree with the sentiment, I won't allow him to dominate my headspace.
There's a tiktok revanced?
Where is satansmaggotycumfart?
I block NSFW and apparently endless anime communities.
Omg, this guy is so done.
Everytime I go to post an image I get this error.
To workaround, I have started waiting for the media browser to finish loading, then I count to three, and it usually works with the three seconds, but not always.
I've been cleaning out my drive and photos lately because I've been on the edge of having no storage for a year. I removed A LOT of photos yesterday and now I am again out of storage.
Upon investigation, 'Device Backup' is now taking up a third of my storage space. Delving into that further, MMS messages backup is taking up 6 gb total.
I do not have Google One.
I don't see any way to remove the MMS without deleting the entire backup.
Anyone have experience with this?
This comes up everytime I open vanced. I've followed the link and started to follow the instructions but I don't have that app installed (under that name) so I cannot disable the optimizations. I'm pretty sure I did install it but it's not listed in apps.
I always have trouble figuring out how to share because of this weird icon. Can we have the default android share icon please?
I thought we were all one big federated family but I don't have a deep knowledge of how it all works. I'd like to follow accounts like lowqualityfacts and Georgetakei but I can't seem to find them by searching.
Hello lemmings, I'm hoping you can help me find the perfect app for Lemmy browsing. In the before times, I used Relay for years on the old subs. Since I migrating I primarily used Sync, which is fine, but I cannot create an alt account login in it on lemmynsfw. I also have used Thunder, which I like but account switching is painful and it takes several minutes for communities to load when switching between accounts.
What's the best app for me? One with mod controls would also be helpful.
Edit: Whoops I left out the important stuff. Mobile, and Android, FOSS preferred
When I go to the Everything feed, or any other feed, I cannot open Instances. It slides up then immediately back down and says failed to load.
I don't think I've ever had Workspace and yet when I try to open a drive document that was emailed to me, I get this: >We are sorry, but your 14-day trial for Google Workspace has ended. Please subscribe in order to continue using Google Workspace.
I just tried to open Drive from the same email account and I get the same message. This is a business account. Is there any resolution to this?
The best feature of Relay for Reddit was that every post above your scroll got marked as read, whether you clicked it or not. So whenever you would refresh, you wouldn't see the same stories you had just scrolled by. If that is currently a feature, I'm missing how to make it happen? Any ideas?
That's the only thing that's giving me issues moving over here. Yesterday was my first day and I like it, except for having to scroll past everything multiple times. I'd been on Reddit for years and observed the blackout, returning after. They recently forced Relay to have a pay model, ad supported didn't cut it, so I just uninstalled for good and moved on.
