It's funny, cuz i remember tons of responses like that when i used Reddit, too. But the onslaught was often worse cuz the larger user base had more power to bombard you with insults about how wrong you are, and give you 49 downvotes in 10 minutes just cuz you give some criticisms about a popular game you didn't happen to enjoy and forgot to add reluctant praise to ("i recognize it's a great game and well made, but its just not for me sad face.")
I think this is just a bad part of the internet, in general. Similar things would even happen in AOL chatrooms if someone voiced a disliked opinion, I remember Diamond chat would get crazy
"Counter-protesting" things like george floyd always blows my mind. It's like booing if someone tells you they beat cancer.
Voices of the Void.
Oh, wait. It's free right now??? Go get it!
Gas gets old and can corrode the gas tank over time, which takes time and money to fix. You can push it a little bit, but its a good practice to get into to increase longevity
Isn't he Jesus in that movie? Is jesus immortal? Tbh i dunno i don't believe in magic
Two words technically, but "Nothing doing!"
Sort of an old fashioned way to say "no way"
Okay, you got me! Hi-fi Rush is a masterpiece of perfection, the others that upvoted my OP are definitely wrong too, and any criticism ever considered by a player is just incorrect, because a lot of people loved it, and things a lot of people love are always perfect.
So sorry for the confusion! Have a good weekend!
Just because things are highly beloved does not mean they aren't flawed and couldn't use improvements. Starfield has an 83 on metacritic. Life is Strange an 85. As of right now, only 190 people are playing Hi Fi Rush on Steam. 204 are currently playing Bayonetta, for comparison. I never said the game was a trainwreck or totally unenjoyable, i said i believed it could have been even better if they paid attention to criticisms that put off the people who didn't enjoy it.
Edit: also just looking at the percentages on the global steam achievements and most people do not even see the ending for a 9 hour game. The achievement for beating it on normal difficulty is ......16%.
I'm glad you liked it, but the two camps are definitely "this game is a masterpiece" and "this game combat is overbloated and feels sloppy". Just check the negative steam reviews, they eco similar sentiments to each other
Ya!!! The prequel to nier ❤️
This game was only good for 4-5 hours, imo. Hi-fi rush was a refreshing concept that attracted attention because it stood out in a sea of similar looking titles that the mainstream has become. But they didn't follow through on the player feedback for such a creative leap in gameplay. It really shows when they start piling on new gameplay mechanics, and combat stops being fun and becomes a mess of awkward controls and spazzy cameras and frustrating vertically-aligned jumping.
No idea why you got downvoted for being so right, the guy makes schlock
Drakengard comes to mind
Are you pretty consumercentric, or do you have some niche interests as well? Google is great at basic tasks and delivering product results and promoted content, and if that's what you're usually looking for it probably works great for you. People have trouble these days trying to find the specific stuff. Google used to really excel at this in the past, but now it's buried under pages of promoted content or pages SEO gamed to the top but not being very helpful
He died in hs. I was in college. It was years later. Thanks for saying I'm basically retarded or a straight up terrible human because of a short post on the internet about Facebook.
You are the reason i left Facebook. I'll just block you here on lemmy.
Deleted my Facebook in my freshman year of college in 2006 because a terrible person from my hs died from a drug overdose. I posted something like "death is sad but he was not a good person and i won't miss him" and got jumped on by a bunch of people i already thought were annoying, so i said "fuck this whole website". It was still when you needed to be in a school to join.
It's been a crazy ride all these years watching all the terrible things that Facebook does, and people just keep using it. Helped elect trump. Steals and launders art. Takes advantage of all your data. Fosters terrorism and crimes. Just a huge shit hole. "but it has its own built in craigslist!" 🙄😒
I don't like online games and a big part of the reason why is 3 of these options
Why not wait to 30?
Sick Sad World from Daria. I'd love that show
Schizophrenia
What do you guys think about Walmart+? Service has good value, or just another way a company can suck more money out of consumers while providing the bare minimum of service and quality?
Edit: lemmy squashed my image into a potato, so here's a hosted one: https://pasteboard.co/ybPFckqHErr2.jpg
This is happening to me a number of times now and I can't figure out why. I'll be trying to have a conversation through comments and I'll run into a commenter I want to reply to from kbin, And I'll type up my comment and get ready to hit post but then it just fails over and over. I've only noticed it on that server
I've been playing the original again and it's the first time since the big backwards update from Below Zero, and for the most part I'm appreciating the improvements. But I'm wondering if anyone has noticed any weirdness with progression now? It's hard for me to tell since playing it after you know everything is so much different, but it really feels like they piled on too many blueprints right around when you get the all purpose circular room. Suddenly I have all these rooms and glass options on top of the normal game progression, and it sort of feels...dirty? Like I got end game content too soon? It's like there's barely anything to unlock anymore and I haven't even made it to the lost river. I think I wish they put a little more thought into the timing of dropping.tvose blueprints, or maybe even hiding them in the game world.
Is there anything you've noticed different in the game that you like playing after the update? That you didn't like? It does run smoother in general so that's nice, way less popping!
Thanks for reading ✌️
