What's the alternative that's actually feasible? Not some tankie utopian dream, but actual solutions? I own a property I rent out. I don't want to sell it because I love my house and plan to live there again some day.
I know I'm not what most people are fighting against, it's the corporate owners who buy massive amounts of property. But what's the solution to that that doesn't punish someone like me who just wants to keep my house for the future.
I live in an area where houses start at 3 million dollars, and the school is surrounded by 10 foot high iron gates with iron spikes at the top. I do t have kids but no way I would send my kid there. I already hated school, I can't imagine what it's like having to feel like a prisoner every day
I live in San Francisco, so decent public transportation. But even then, it doesn't run 24 hours. If you want late night fast food, unless you live in NYC, you either need a car or get to pay absurd prices for door dash to deliver cold food.
What reddit stuff are you expecting?
