I come to lemmy because I have time to relax, not to get all hyped up like you. If I want to stay informed I read articles, not people's opinion.

Why would I block you for giving your opinion? We just use lemmy for different purposes.

Because of the war against nuclear plants. Our green party shut down nuclear plants in favor for renewable energy. But as predicted, renewables don't meet our demands. So the green party started building gas plants to compensate instead of keeping nuclear running.

So why? Because of green idiocracry that demand the impossible of green energy (at this moment) and nuclear = evil

I also use sync. And i also use the option to block certain words in titles. If you use this list, your feed gets a lot less toxic. Don't judge me from this list, it works for me and a lot less first world problems.

Diesel cars have to be 8 yrs or younger. Then they go for export to countries without low emissions zones for peanuts.

Except it doesn't were we live in Antwerp. Covid prooved that. Our emissions come from the port. During lockdown, it was a year with very little travel. Emissions stayed the same.

Even worse is that our European "low emissions zones" are forcing us to buy new cars (not seond hand ones). Al for the environment right? It is a 360€ fine every time we cross such a zone in an older car.

So if you can't afford a new car, they fine you for it pretty hefty. Long live the rich.
