I think it's more common if you live in an apartment building with lots of units. The delivery person will sit there organizing and unloading boxes for a few minutes before moving on. Houses are lucky to get more than a few seconds with their delivery person before they move on.
That's how I feel but they didn't know that it was even possible. Even G2A has a policy that helps the buyer in those situations, YMMV. It really depends on circumstance but the tech is there. Like the headline says, you own nothing.
This has always been the reason that key sites are not recommended. People steal credit card numbers and buy a key with that number. They then turn around and sell that key on a key site. The bank then does a charge back and the key gets voided, even if it's been redeemed. So now you're out the cost of the game, the game itself and the scammer keeps the money.
I think at your age (didn't specify but still minor) the only real options are tutoring international students, bug bounties, and maybe remote help desk if you have any certs. You will probably need a work permit too, ask your school counselor. As a student you might also qualify for remote internships from some of the bigger tech companies aimed at students, ie Microsoft, Dell, IBM, Google. These are usually paid.
IRL is probably a better option as has been mentioned. Put up flyers around town advertising yourself for whatever you think you can pull off. I'd start with grocery stores, apartment buildings, community centers, hospitals, the local VA office, senior centers, post office, local colleges, etc
But by framing it as attacking trans health care they will gain the support of the R masses. Gotta say I'm getting bored of watching leopards eating faces.
So how does one acquire the training data that this will use. It sounds like they are gonna gather "all" of the original copies from various publishers in order to train the AI. Would be a real shame if someone were to discover where that was being stored.
If you want something that far "out of print" those repacks are your best bet. The only other options that MIGHT be available are key reseller sites. If you're lucky they have some keys. If they still work is another problem.
Anecdotal but I moved somewhat recently and found my box of old consoles/games. I found my copy of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (PS3) and booted it up to find out that I never claimed the DLC. I bought the steelbook Special Edition with a DLC code for the extra characters. Tried to redeem and apparently the code expired. If I want the characters I have to buy the "Ultimate" version of the game which has the characters on the disk.
I worked in apartment maintenance for a bit. That is a requirement for low income housing, at least in California. If it doesn't have one or it stops working for any reason, the tenant can claim unlivable living conditions and not pay rent until it's fixed. This is true for many types of problems but you asked about garbage disposals. Also the property could potentially lose the designation of low income housing which means losing the federal/state subsidy. Most tenants don't know about this and choose to move out instead after a few rent increases. On the other hand there is a list of "problem tenants" that landlords share and if you end up on it then good luck finding a new place to rent.
Maybe not at this scale, but Republicans have already been bussing and flying people for a while now. Martha's Vineyard ring any bells. This isn't extradition, it's deportation. They just just want these people out of their hometowns.
And they're taking the country with them.
