After COVID, many doctors left rural areas. This has left many communities across the country lacking proper "treating health care providers". Who do you think is going to fill that gap for the purpose of this bill. Besides, most of the time the ones that are making headlines for this stuff typically have an R next to their name. But you're right, some of these things are not like the others. And that's kinda my point.
You're looking at this problem all wrong, it's not that children cannot consent. Nobody is arguing that. The change here is that now those that would be doing the tests are no longer considered child predators because they didn't do anything illegal. So now it would be totally fine for priests, doctors, senators, neighbors, etc to look at random kids genitals to verify sexuality without any resistance from their parents/guardians. Is this how we finally do away with rapists, by redefining sexual assault.
Like he said in the video, this has been in the works for years. I'm just curious if that means the OpenRA devs will be allowed to use the recent release of the open source version for new features.
Latino voter implies that they are citizens. So when they hear something like "stricter immigration laws" they think it doesn't apply to them because they have the documentation that says they are citizens. But none of that matters when ICE pulls you over at gunpoint for looking illegal.
I'm not in the field to be able to tell you what the internships entail but there should be something relevant to your field. As for age, the only requirement I've heard of for these things is being a student enrolled in a specific/related field or recent grad. Nothing about age, how that actually works in practice might be something different all together. The firms that come to mind would be something like H&R Block, Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, Vanguard, Fidelity, JPMorgan Chase, BofA, Edward Jones. Pick a school you like and see if any of these, or others, have an internship program in the area.
Banks and credit unions might be another place to look into. The most important thing is networking while you're there. These are the people who might be able to help you out once you graduate.
Only until age 26.
