I use semimak mainly but use qwerty often and I feel like there's no problem with using both at all. This is just my experience though. When I first learned Dvorak and dropped qwerty I completely lost qwerty but it came back really easily later when I started using it more
Reading "suck it in and smile" in French to try to get some vocab back after letting my French rust in a ditch for a few years. Enjoying reading French and seeing the spellings of words I used regularly.
That said the story is quite underwhelming with some key points that aren't much of Anything new. Its very short though and easy enough to read despite the language so I'll finish it up soon and move on to a more interesting story
My issue with the silo trilogy is the end kinda drags on a little bit and you're just waiting for it to come. Otherwise I really like those books. There's also a show Thats Apparently really good too!
How does using a trackball feel? Ive been thinking about maybe getting one but I mostly like my mouse.
Does it feel more ergonomic or is it mostly just less distance to the mouse?
I think I've heard of people putting custom images on kobos but I Don't know too much about it. I'm just using stock kobo and not connecting it to the internet and it's been great for me
I've seen your comments about reading digital media but if you can get an eink screen (kobo, amazon paper white, etc) it Doesn't feel like a screen at all. Then you can look up words right there. Ive started doing it every once in awhile as a native English speaker since its so convenient.
That said I'm gonna start picking up French again (hopefully) and that's gonna be tough because my vocabulary was always lacking in French and I haven't really read anything in French in years.

I'm using 7zip on win11. You need to get into the old context menu to see it tho. You can edit the registry to make the old one the default too.

I'm getting more into using logseq. I like it fairly well. It's not quite comfortable on mobile though so I'm sticking to obsidian there for the time being.
I suppose not needing to grind for better gear would be nice. I think I want my next play through to be a repeat of the first and the grinding was part of the 💫 experience 💫
But I can't relive that experience so maybe sergey hax is the way to go.
As to iconoclasts, Nothing gameplay wise is similar but the characters/dialogue seem reminiscent of what crosscode brings to the table, which to me was a big part of my enjoyment.
I agree with the DS3 take. I like it more than DS2 just because DS2 feels so clunky in how it plays but the vibes feel much better.
DS3 is pretty underwhelming when compared to the other games given they each do something unique.
That said, gundyr champion, nameless king, sister friede, and Gael are all unreal fights and might be worth playing through everything just to get to imo
Sorry for the late reply. I think I watched a video with these. I think playing with sergey hax would overall detract from doing a second play through but the extra dialogues/expressions are spectacular.
I'm currently playing through iconoclasts which was recommended as having some similarities to crosscode and I see them. Been having a good time so far with it.
That said, it's very difficult to compare with Lea
I would say a lot of the characters don't suck in disco Elysium but I also didn't have the best of times with that game. It was cool and I think the zanyness they peppered into the writing was fun to experience.
I had a really hard time getting into Hades. It's very visually pleasing, the VA is great but the gameplay feels unimpressive. Seemed I only almost completed one run but it just wasn't all that to me
I find dark souls 3 successfully condensed down the mechanics and gameplay of the souls games but delivered nothing in terms of exploration and world building.
The lore is DS2 is very good but the gameplay feels so horrendously unpolished and a lot of enemy placement feels really bad.
If I could play ds2 with ds3 gameplay it would potentially be able to rival the first half of DS1 for me
