Well they all voted for the internet censorship bill (the only nay votes were from two Republicans) so I'm sure it'll be more than just Schumer voting for it right before they all go on TV and talk about how "concerned" they are with the actions of the Republican party.
I dunno anything about these drugs but I remember the diet drug fad in the '90s and the disastrous consequences and side effects that came from it. I'm sure these aren't going to give heart attacks to a bunch of people, but I have a hard time believing there isn't some sort of cost to pay for a magic pill that makes you skinny. I'm willing to admit that my view is tainted by the past and will once again state that I know nothing about these pills specifically so I could be completely off base here.
Yeah we visited there 10+ years ago, stayed in a hotel, and ate at a nearby Dennys and I was questioning how those hotel and Dennys employees could afford to work in those places.
Great now let me fucking hide all these stupid locked podcast episodes clogging up my feed that are only available to super duper mega premium subscribers.
No it isn't and they have openly talked about doing this practice back in the early days of reddit to make the site appear more active than it really was. Nothing has changed.
No you don't. This place is filled with articles and tens of thousands of comments criticizing the shit that Republicans are doing and Democrats are helping them achieve a lot of their goals, so why shouldn't we throw these people under the bus too? Quit treating politics like a team sport and wake up to the fact that they're working together to fuck us all over.
Yeah I saw that part of the Reconcilliation bill they're allotting $45B to build facilities to house 100,000 deportees, or $450,000 per person. They're cutting all useful services so that they can take our tax dollars and give it to their friends who give a cut back in "donations" or $1,000,000 a plate dinners at Trump's lair.
Geez, tough crowd. Or perhaps they need an accompanying laugh-track to know it's a joke.
