If you want a loving relationship your best bet is to expand your social circles. Spending time with friends, meeting their friends, and making new friends. Join a hobby club or a team sport. The person you meet through friends is probably gonna be more compatible with you than the person you matched on tinder for superficial reasons.
The crux of this issue is there's more money available to push agendas and misinformation than there is market cap for authentic journalism. We need to free information and journalism from the clutches of capitalism -at least partially.
IMO a publicly funded entity like the CBC should provide infrastructure for independent journalism. They should be tasked with fostering a national association of qualified journalists, a logistical system to facilitate on-the-scene documentation, and platforming individually produced journalism. It would synergize with independent media that's largely relegated to youtube and social media.
I think American progressives need to focus on repairing their democracy before expecting it to reflect their values.

I think that was their original plan based on how they campaigned. But now I think the GOP wants to have their cake and eat it to... meaning getting rid of Trump but keeping his base. Trump tanking USA's economic prospects was not part of the plan.

Ontario has 3 times the population and significantly more cross-border & international traffic. The fact that Alberta has half as many cases indicates something is not being managed well.

Canada has always been in bed with the USA. USA funds Israel down to their universal healthcare.
Truth & Reconciliation wise... I think Canadians need to acknowledge that our quality of life was built on the very injustices we're waking up to.
Our gov't does nothing for Palestine because they know that Canadians will care more about the negative effects to their standard of living cause by a fallout with the USA, than Palestinians.
I don't know what Canada could do that would meaningfully benefit Palestinians, that wouldn't also aggravate the USA.
I think in the long term Canada undermining the USA's economic dominance is probably the only thing we can do unless we're willing to endure some suffering ourselves.
