This bill is going nowhere, and Trump just said at the summit that he would honor article 5.
I know Trump often changes his mind, but the summit showed that Trump has definitely changed course for the better regarding NATO.

To reach these high core counts (relative to China's current manufacturing capabilities), Loongson is using a quad-chiplet layout interlinked with its Loongson Coherent Link (LoongLink) technology to achieve a 64-core configuration. LoongLink is Loongson's equivalent to Intel's mesh interconnect, Nvidia's NVLink, and AMD's Infinity Fabric.
This is the strategy AMD used with their Epyc server chips to take marketshare from Intel in the server market, and it works.
AMD also used it for Threadripper, and AMD has taken the HPC market completely away from Intel.
So this is absolutely an excellent strategy to compensate for being behind on manufacturing process.
Average because 1% own half the wealth, average has nothing to do with normal people. You need median. Many people don't even make 5k per month before taxes.
If we get runaway climate change it's the end of ALL life on earth, not just humans. Humans will probably survive the longest, because we can create artificial means to sustain us.
Humans are already surviving from Sahara to beyond the arctic circles, I don't think other species are capable of that, except maybe bacteria.
Of course the planet doesn't give a shit, it's just a big rock. But to say the earth is fine is wrong unless you don't consider life a factor at all.
We are going to be paying off our student loans for at least another decade," Heninger, who is facing just under $900 monthly payments between himself and his wife
Oh for fucks sake, if they have $100,000+ that's $8,333 per month, and they can't handle paying $900 per month?
Cry me a river will you?
The graph shows "only" 0,5° C increase over the past decade, but it feels like way more IMO.
I live in Denmark, and we used to have winters with constant frost for about a month around January/February.
The past few years it's been very few days with frost, and not even a month of consistent frost during nights!
I absolutely agree with the graph in that it's become way more noticeable this past decade.
Raising the age of retirement is because the population is getting older and healthier. Another issue where USA is failing compared to basically the rest of the world.
There are many countries with less than half the wealth of USA that have better life expectancy and where people are more healthy at higher age.
Denmark is among the most notable on retirement age, increasing it to 70 over the next decade.
And Denmark is probably among the least fascist countries in the western hemisphere. Nazism is legal here, so they are not specifically hiding, and police and media know where they are headquartered, and we only have about a handful of them.
Actually I think it will spread to all counties in USA.
If you think your county is safe, you are naive.
I don't think it will spread much to other countries either. USA already did their worst with the tariffs, but this is not like a financial crisis where other countries lost money just as much as USA did.
This is USA alone, and USA alone will be clearly the hardest hit by their own stupidity.
Kind of Ironic this is made in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Considering Trump also abandoned Ukraine, despite USA promised to support Ukraine for giving up their nukes, in case of an invasion.
IDK about others, but I'm maintaining a hard boycott of American goods, including goods made in EU buy American owned companies.
Just today I bypassed Coca Cola and bought the "cheap" local brand instead, despite Coca Cola was on special offer at a VERY low price way below the local brand.
Coca Cola has been on sale for at least 3 months straight, at a price just below the local brand!
I've also seen Californian wine on special offer for 1½ month in our local supermarket, such special offers are usually 1 week maximum.
Lots of American brands are discounted almost constantly, Heinz and Palmolive basically EVERY time I'm at the supermarket, but with different products.
Turns out our main brands of conditioner although they have local names and are made in France, are also owned by American companies! But I found a good European brand at our local hardware store of all places.
I hope many Europeans are making at least some effort to avoid American owned and American made goods. Personally I'm 95% all in. For instance we also sold our American stock. If there is an alternative, American is simply no longer an option.
One thing I can't replace is Steam. I use Linux, and Steam just makes it so goddam easy to run games in Linux. Some of the games are American too, but ONLY because they are good companies, I do NOT play games from Blizzard or EA and the likes of them.
