  • Nah, I played both 2.0 and 2.5. Gygax was just a math and numbers geek who tried to gatekeep with over complication.

    4.0 is NOT D&D. 1.0 barely qualifies as D&D.

    2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 5.0 all have their upsides and downsides.

  • There were apocalyptic Jewish sects for thousands of years before Christ. Heck, John the Baptist was an apocalyptic Jew that Christ respected. That is why there's even a reference to the apocalypse in the Bible. I personally blame the bronze age collapse, and the green Sahara ending.

  • Most people cannot ride a bike at anywhere close to the speeds that an e-bike can hit. I pass professional cycling teams daily on my e-bike because I can do 20mph. The average professional cyclist seems to struggle to maintain 15+mph. I only get passed by a normal bicycle maybe once every few months, and those guys and gals have gastrocnemius' that are about as big as my waist. My current e-bike has just under 2500 miles on the odo, my previous one blew up at just over 11,000 miles. Oh, and technically both e-bikes could do 25 mph, that just wears out the motor in less than 1000 miles.

  • Regular bikes don't have a motor. E-bikes and e-scooters do have a motor. Some regulation on e-bikes may be needed, but regular bikes have been regulated as much as is needed. Maybe a helmet law, but even that seems unnecessary.

  • Cela arrivera. Nous avons plus d'armes à feu que de personnes détenues par des particuliers. Comme l'a dit un jour Thomas Jefferson : « Les racines de l'arbre de la liberté doivent être rafraîchies par le sang des tyrans. »
