If you read the scopes article, the number is zero and zero is a great number. "The human remains found by the Commission are not in a sewage tank but in a second structure with 20 chambers..." How did these children die? Were they murdered? Was there a pandemic? Neglect? Famine? Over what time range was this collective grave used?

After the story in Canada that sparked the burning of multiple churches was found out to be entirely false, I'm going to wait for actual facts here.

Scopes reports that the babies were buried in an adjacent structure and that the number is undetermined. An amateur published that number without evidence.

Until additional information is uncovered, it is not possible if the grave was a result of legitimate or initiate reasons.

I'm lucky to live walking distance to work. 99.995% of my city doesn't have that option and must rely on a car. My city spends almost nothing in public transit but spends a lot on roads and other car subsidies.

I'm testing this app now, just between me and my wife before we give it to the kids. Most of the businesses other than gas stations and restaurants are missing or have very outdated information.

Do it anyway. I use adb to modify my phone and make it suck less. I also look forward to the day (if it ever comes) where Linux phones are a viable replacement option.

Even when a car is needed, I just want to get from A to B safely and inexpensively. The only "perk" I would care about is seats that don't suck for long trips. And I guarantee my back would hate the seats in this vehicle. I give it 0 stars.

Edit: Also, I think they make most of their money off of ad-sense adds embedded in apps and websites. It'll be very difficult to weed all those out. I just use uBlock on Firefox and Blockada on Android.

The US has manageable problems. Russia & China do not. They have unmanageable problems. Russia and China both have population free-falls and a rapidly aging population. China's economy hasn't grown for the past three years. And that's with their official statistics, so it is likely much worse. Xi's political leadership is in limbo with internal factions alienating him from his own leadership. Way too much of China's "wealth" is tied-up in real estate because they failed to grow other means of investing and saving. As that collapses with the population, real poverty will set in and the people will realize that their government failed them. This plus Xi's drive toward war and his poor economic performance the past few years are why he is on the outs, leader in name only. Russia is getting their ass kicked by a nation 1/10 their size, gaining only a few acres per day at the cost of over a million casualties.

Yes, if I had to choose, I'd pick the US well above China or Russia. So do most people. Which is why nobody is immigrating to China and very few to Russia. Despite the problems America suffers, it is still the land of opportunity, unlike Russia and China.

Presumably it is to discourage Iran from attacking US assets in the region, knowing that the US have weapons that they can use to counter-attack. Any counter-attack needs to be against Israel alone, not the US. That's what the US wants.

These new buyers are in BRICS, and their demand is increasing because these are growing economies where the standard of living is rising.

• US GDP up by 67%.
• Brazil GDP up by 9%.
• Russia GDP up by 20%. Most of that is non-useful military spending to murder their neighbors.
• India GDP up by 77%.

Only India beats US GDP growth and that's because US-based businesses are moving some of their production away from China and to India.

Making more money has to be weighed against creating more risk for yourself

The risk is on the buyer. That's US businesses buying from China. US businesses pay, then China ships. What happens at the ports with tariffs is the problem of US businesses. China is going to keep selling so long as orders are coming in.

Trump is a product of the existing material conditions in the US

Voters report voting for him as a reaction against inflation. Inflation was caused by a reaction to Covid. The material condition has changed and the appetite for someone like Trump has waned as a result. That's why his popularity is so low.

Once Chinese companies find new buyers, what reason do they have to go back to trading with the US

To make more money. The bigger your market, the more customers you have, the more money you can make. Also, these "new buyers," where have they been? Why was China holding out? That makes no sense at all.

Trump is seen as inherently risky. He has just a short few years remaining. A president like him comes only rarely.

A lot of companies bought ahead of tariffs. It'll even out in a couple of months.

The sale is the entire company and assets to Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals said last month it aimed to buy the company for $256 million. Regeneron said it would comply with 23andMe's privacy policies and applicable law. It said it would process all customer personal data in accordance with the consents, privacy policies and statements, terms of service, and notices currently in effect and have security controls in place designed to protect such data.

I don't know much about Regeneron Pharmaceuticals but previously I read from others here that they represent the best case scenario.
