With Kafka and Ichikawa back at the cleaning company, I thought they would run into Kaiju No.9's disguise, but the scene was switched back to JAKDF quickly.

Of course, being the main character, even if he failed the exam he was still kept…… as comic relief.

Kafka bonded with the others through some muscle communication. Hoshina warned him not to get too involved though, as they were in dangerous business. An alarm sounded just in time before ending the episode.

More of Lloyd's family were introduced: the animal-loving 6th princess Alieze and the blacksmithing 4th prince Dian.

Lloyd got permission to go on adventuring, and he went to the guild to register. He was really specialized in magic, his other parameters were all F.

We found out a bit more about Sylpha's past, she was a legendary A-rank adventurer known as the Silver Blader. The other adventurers did not recognize her in person though 😆

The Assassin's Guild was introduced, and it seemed from the preview that they'll appear in the next episode.

We still don't know why the monsters become so strong suddenly. Maybe it is not just a plot convenience and we'll get to the reason eventually?

Shin still wants to log out and return to the real world. There is also something about a promise?

Shin's blacksmith skill is so great that he's still famous after 500 years.

Poor Tiera, forgotten and did not get a mention.

This news is about Aoyama-sensei's other manga, named YAIBA, not Detective Conan. YAIBA had an anime adaptation which finished 30 years ago.

Is there any meaning to his name? His name is ルト in Japanese, I’m not aware of it having anything to do with the English word root which should be ルート.

I don't think this is a spoiler it's just my feelings, that Root was a very conceited / egotistical kind of person.

He’s certainly done some shady stuff in the past, like hyumen experiments in his lab. I’m not sure he is evil, probably is outside of humen/hyumen morality. He seems to be opposed to the goddess. Were ancient dragons indigenous to the world? I forgot the lore.

Strangely the screenshot doesn’t load for me. Is there some problem with the server?

I think Makoto doesn’t care much about hyumens of the world apart from a few acquaintances (Toa’s party, the Rembrants and his students). I forgot why he even set up his company in the first place. His customers certainly need it more than it needs them.

Mio: the Hibiki I know is so weak, cannot possibly be the summoned hero.

Now my comment on episode 12:

Finally Bon got to experience time travel in the other direction, but the destination is more problematic than those in the previous episodes.

I heard this one is a cliffhanger but I didn't expect THAT. Now I'll be waiting for the second season's release in July.

Since there was not much engagement for this show so far, I only asked for 1 more post instead of posts for every episode to avoid cluttering the community. You can comment on episodes 1-12 under this post. I hope spoilers would not be too much of a problem since all episodes of this season are already available.

In the other forum somebody mentioned that all those Bars Sasakura went to are all real too.

Watched 3 episodes so far. I'd say the production quality is quite good, except the occasional CG standing out and looking different from the rest.

I read the manga a long time ago and as far as I can tell this is a faithful adaptation. I like this kind of story and will continue to check out the rest of the series.

Said user got distracted in the time between requesting the thread and Rikka posting it (❁´◡`❁)

This was quite a busy episode. We saw the knights reacting to the effect of Lloyd's weapon enchantments, Tao with her hot guy sensor, those monsters called bearwolves, Albert's anti-gravity magic wand sword, and that new demon escaping from the old shrine.

Sylpha of course was the one who got the most screen time. She got to show off her, erm, assets, to the joy of the knights (before they got their punishment), her usual way with words, and also her prowess with the demon-in-bearwolf.

Lloyd was content to stay in the background and study this new magic this episode, but I suspect he'll play a more active role in the next one where the demon will probably get a lesson in the depths of sorcery.
