  • I used to get this all the time. Now, if I get a hangnail, I liberally drench my hands in lotion, and put on nitrile gloves for an hour or so to force it to soak in.

    A family friend gets me Gojo Hand Medic, which my fragile masculinity appreciates.

    I also found it works well for breaking in leather work gloves.

  • Your hands are dry. Use moisturizer. Or lather your hands in Vaseline before bed and sleep with cotton gloves. You will have a new set of hands in the morning.

  • I have cracks on the corners of my fingers, beside the nail. They run deep and I have to put Polysporin with lidocaine on them to reduce the throbbing sting. It's due to a combination of biting my nails and working a job that requires constant antibacterial hand-washing. I hate it.
