Oh I'm aware of "the traffic light", it just feels like it's been a while since Germany pushed the EU forward instead of holding us back (arming Ukraine, regulation about combustion engines in future cars, etc)
They did that because of Fukushima and some sociological factors in the german population (which maybe come from Chernobyl's time too)...I'm sure they regretted putting all chips on gas after the invasion of Ukraine...but then again with what is happening in the ZNPP, I'm not so sure anymore. Germany is not in a seismic zone, but it is in the European plain after all, which is a recurrent geopolitical problem.
