Poor thing may have just been too old or may have been sick. At least you gave her something to eat though.

I'm always sad when I come across a bee who's obviously on their last legs.
- The bees that leave the hive are the oldest ones. Old age is likely
  
  Imagine if humans had a retirement program like that. All seniors get flown to Florida or Australia or somewhere (maybe this already happens in the former case), and we ask them to come back with fish or whatever.
  
  It just looks so tired, too. 😢

I nurtured one one day. Gave it sugar water and rest and safety. It seems like some kind of insect was trying to break out of the bee. 🐝 It went from concern.. to horror. 😆
