Blocking Visual Studio Code embedded reverse shell before it's too late

I’ve been using VScode less and less all the time. It’s constantly updating and seems to just be a drag on system resources. I’m getting sick of chromium applications. Editing files with it seems like using a chainsaw to cut cheese.
