If you don't mind me asking @KindnessInfinity@lemmy.ml, are you the same person that posted on reddit for the unofficial Graphene sub? That person was super helpful at directing me towards great resources on a few occasions, like sending me on a deep dive into the 3-way permissions system of AOSP.
Hello, @SpaceCadet@lemmy.world thank you for for reaching out for help. I was not involved with any of the reddit communities. I have reached out to others who may be able to help you with your questions. I or another person will reply here with a response to these questions soon with an answer.
For the number one issue, are you using a USB-C DAC dongle?
if you may, please file a report at the issue tracker for GrapheneOS here: https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues as you mentioned your audio issue happens with different headphones too. It's likely an issue with DAC dongle or an upstream issue in AOSP.
As for unofficial grapheneOS subreddits, if you are talking about r/GrapheneOS, that is actually an official reddit made by the project.
As for 2nd question, it's not likely possible. Sorry.
