Hexbear is definitive proof that authoritarian tankieism is necessary for any trans space Love to all the authoritarian mods for keeping the bear website safe, friendly and beautiful.
After witnessing the kinds of fuckers that advocate for so-called "free speech" and what it's used for, I am unironically in favour of crushing those nerds about it. And not just online, y'know how chuds are always shrieking about getting gulag'd for wrong pronoun usage? That's the system of justice I aspire to.
Authoritarianism is when we stop fascists from lynching trans people. Freedom is when we say "I don't agree with the fascists openly planning how to kill me but if I protest then liberals will stop supporting me so I'll just try and ignore them"
This, the reason i feel safer here than in most exclusively trans spaces is that the mods ban transphobes, misogynists and homophobes instead of getting into arguments why their comment wasn't hatespeechy enough and that they do not tone police marginalized people. In other places, the mods are fuckin liberals who value the free speech of my opressors over my safety and use civility fetishism to silence me. They uphold the violent, exclusionary, status quo-cementing logic of the marketplace of ideas, and will respect the interests of a cis and assimilationist majority over the safety needs of the most marginalized minorities within a community even though these minorities are most in need of protection.
Hexbear is a safer speace precisely because it is deeply and utterly illiberal.
Lmao how do they not realise that it's the use of authority that makes it a good space?
Fucking idiots I swear to god. What are you gonna do in your society with all the bigots and chuds? Ask them nicely to stop? Good luck. Only fear through use of authority will terrorise them into silence and behaving correctly to lgbt people.
