Shadowrun runs entirely on d6 dice. If you're not big into crunch, I've run multiple campaigns of the rules-lite version that's focused on storytelling called Anarchy. It needs a little home-brewing, imo, but is a good way to run it with folks that don't want to play Spreadsheet: The Gam.e
A six sided dice where each side has an actual activity you can do IRL to organize instead of asking randoms on the internet which games you should play? wtf is this reddit tier shit lol
GURPS, the Generic Universal Roleplaying System, uses only d6, with the biggest rolls tending to max out around 10d6. It's very flexible, and is based around the power scale of "heroic realism", aka action movie schlock.
Characters can do badass stuff but if you get shot you typically die pretty quick. I've used it to run/play in the following games:
cyberpunk heists
kung fu movie knockoff
D&D with the serial numbers filed off
tactical mech combat
rules-light game in not!Ancient Greece where the PCs were godlings
