A close family friend of John Barnett said he predicted he might wind up dead and that a story could surface that he killed himself.
Everyone knows this isn’t suicide but they are so brazen because there are no consequences. What do we need to do so that there are?

I have a feeling those 'thoughts' are of how to clean up other loose ends.

I think they're referring to the friend making the allegation. Personally, I wouldn't put it past a huge multinational that stood to lose lucrative contracts.
