An extremist evangelical movement has set itself up to formulate the governing priorities of a second Trump administration.
This is something that honestly keeps me up a night. In the back of my mind, I worry about having to leave the country or be persecuted. The worst part is that it's completely possible.
It being possible isn’t the worst part.
The worst part is that they might nuke countries that take asylum seekers.
Should the american warfare machinery, military industrial complex and extensive nuclear arsenal ever fall into the hands of these people, there will be dark days ahead. The mightiest military machine on earth steered by the deadly delusions of the deranged devout.
What an epic story it would make, but what a hell to live through.
