He's not incorrect. Prepending "open" to the name does not make a project open.
But superimposing some contrarian text in Paint is... well, exactly the level of intelligence I would expect from him.
It’s like the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, which is neither Democratic, controlled by the People of North Korea, or a Republic.
And yeah, low-effort shitposting on his own platform is perfectly on-brand for Elon.
