Officers looking for missing fishermen instead find "narco sub" loaded with 4 tons of cocaine

The Colombian navy released images of the seizure of the sub, as well as video showing officers unloading bundles of the alleged narcotics.

Did they stop the search for the missing people then? Sounds like they got all excited that they found a new toy and forgot all about the people they were actually trying to help.
- They might have just catched them to not help the fishermen.
"Yeah boss, we found 3 tons of cocaine out there!"

*At the press release later: "My officers found 2 tons of cocaine on a sub while searching for the missing fishermen."
It’ll be less than a ton by the time they make it back to shore.
