When choosing between biased anti-Chinese sources from countries with a free press, or biased pro-Chinese sources from countries without a free press, I know which I'm going to choose.

All over the world, wherever there are capitalists, freedom of the press means freedom to buy up newspapers, to buy writers, to bribe, buy and fake "public opinion" for the benefit of the bourgeoisie.

  I don’t think it’s free but it is free-er . You have an admittedly shitty balance of power between politicians who want to be voted for and capitalists who want to make money and voter/consumers. The population, who as a collective, want excellent public and private services with low prices/ taxes and generally not too concerned how that happens. Don’t get me wrong there are lots of fantastic people in the world and most people I meet I think are genuinely decent. A person is smart but people are dumb.

True. But i should mention that israel is carrying out hitler-would-be-proud style genocide and western media isnt talking about it. The only actual trustable sources nowdays are independent local journalists/analysts, and unfortunelly most of them talk only in their languages. Also thats why its so important for the ruling classes to censor the Internet worldwide
