Not in this context. It could be in a different context, but not this one. The comparison is about how Republicans are willingly subservient to Trump.

That's certainly why he's a Republican politician. And Trump-slobbering and debasing yourself is basically a requirement, so by that standard, he's certainly a "great" one.
