This is quite a big deal. UFS in the past has typically lagged behind NVMe slightly in real world implementations. It's good to hear that the alternative (UFS) can be even faster.
Wait, iPhones use NVME?
Yes. This is how the storage is presented to the operating system. It's an internal interface however. You certainly can't install your own NVMe storage into an iPhone.
