The year of Linux on the desktop is closer. Linux reaches 3% of desktops

Linux enthusiasts rejoice! After a long journey, according to StatCounter's data, by June 2023, Linux has achieved a 3% desktop market share.

I wish SteamOS would finally release for desktop. I think it could give a good push to Linux adoption in the gaming community and also attract casual users that are not familiar with Linux.

I got my nephew a steam deck and he’s a Linux fanboy ever since. He even starts to tinker with the console in desktop mode.
