I’ll say it again,
The people that care, can’t do anything about it, and the people that can do something about it- don’t care.
The climate won’t even begin to be repaired until the old guard finally shakes the mortal coil.
Evil people live longer. It's that stress free lifestyle of not giving a single shit about humanity, I bet.

No, the people that said they cared are a major contributor to the problem we have now.
The broad public knew about climate change in the 80s. Policy makers knew back in the 70s. We could have curbed emissions using nuclear energy.
But the anti-nuclear environmentalists put on a lot of public pressure and stopped our first chance of decarbonization dead in its tracks.
So, we are now forced to do it with wind and solar.
It's not going to work. We are only slowing our emissions down a little bit and hoping that the technology will become better over time.
Let's just collectively pretend nothing of importance is going on... have you heard the new thing about the popular person? stop killing my vibe ny telling me that we are killing the planet, I have a lot of scrolling to catch.
