Everyone that likes anime is still weird, IMO. I've never met a person who's into anime that isn't off-puttingly weird. And all of that is valid online too.

Ofc this is a dumb take, because it's absolute and those are mostly dumb. But I'll admit that hardcore anime fans are weirdos.
Not to mention "death to weebs" is just an abhorrent take in the first place.

A hardcore fan of anything is going to be a little weird. If they're not weird, they're not hardcore.
